One of a Kind Twilight Eco Tour in El Yunque National Rain Forest  Michael and Nilsa run a top notch eco tour business in Puerto Rico. The twilight tour with Michael and Angel as our guides were the highlight of our trip! Both guides were extremely knowledgeable about the flora, fauna and wildlife of El Yunque and all of Puerto Rico. They could identify the sound of each of the 17 species of coqui frogs found on the island! Amazing! This is a great educational trip for the entire family. Visited November 2016″

Twilight rain forest tour – Reviewed 5 July 2016 – We had hoped to tour the Bioluminescent bay and had found El Yunque Tours to be the best reviewed of the providers for this. Throughout the booking process the folks on the phone were up-front about the fact that conditions at the bay had been poor for viewing and let us know that they were booking any tours as “twilight kayak tours” rather than bio-bay experiences — reading some of the recent bad reviews for other providers who gave no such information shows that they are unique in this honest and upfront approach.  As it turned out we decided to go with the twilight guided rainforest walk instead; we are experienced hikers and were not sure how much value we would get from a guided tour but this turned out to be a highlight of the trip. Mike, our guide, is hugely knowledgeable and enthusiastic about the Puerto Rican forest ecosystem and his excitement at finding various flora and fauna is contagious.  The tour starts around dusk as the forest begins to “transform” from daytime to nighttime modes. A short trip down an easy slope into the forest itself leads to a swimming hole. As the darkness falls you are given a special red light that allows you to see where you are going and look at the frogs, insects, birds, and plants without disturbing them or ruining your night vision. In both directions Mike provided expert commentary on what we were seeing. We saw many “coqui’s” (tree frogs), spiders, snails, luminescent insects and even a tiny sleeping bird called a toddy.   This is something we never would have experienced without a knowledgeable guide.  We can recommend both this tour as an experience and El Yunque Tours as a company. – Visited June 2016″

Twilight nature walk – Reviewed 23 February 2016 – Getting the opportunity to visit El Yunque rain forest at night was quite a unique experience. The guides are extremely knowledgeable and provided a lot of color to the experience. The dip in Las Damas was an added bonus. We had a dry and crystal clear night with a full moon, so it was not a difficult hike either down or up. The 2 hours flew by. I would say being able to hear the forest wake up was something I’ll remember for a long time. Overall, I highly recommend this tour for someone looking for an interesting, informative and unique experience.  Visited February 2016″

Absolutely amazing! – Reviewed 21 February 2016 – Michael was an amazing tour guide! I came to the twilight nature tour with a group of four adults with special needs and he was one of the most patient, and adaptable tour guide we could have asked for. Everyone was engaged no matter the ability level, and we all got to learn and see some amazing things in the forest! We all absolutely loved to see a side of the forest very few got to see! It was an absolutely amazing experience I’d recommend to everyone! Visited February 2016″
